What is Texture Sand?
This is very fine sand that can be added to a non-moving glaze such as CSP03 Matt Medium for a texture build-up of design work.
It is not recommended to mix more than 1 part of Textured Sand with 2 parts of non-moving glaze.
Not recommended for food surfaces. For decorative use only.
Coloring
It will take on the color of the non-moving glaze you add it to. In the CFE color system, you can tint CSP03 Matt Medium and other light-colored glazes and then add Texture sand for colored dimensional build-up.
Application:
It can be applied by brush or sponged on when added to a non-moving glaze. It is not recommended to force dry.
When design build-up is dry you can shade on top of texture with Color Concentrates or Professional Studio Pigments.
